Yeah thats right, I though I'd share my perspective on doing art and being legally blind.Man it can be challenging at times but it's great that with all of todays tech I'm still able to draw event though I cant quite get around a dark crowded restaurant. I still get a kick out of that one at times. I just love to draw, that the only time where being legally blind doesn't matter cause I just forget about being blind. I just draw and focus on that only. I am no longer thinking about  bumping into unseen objects in the room or someone thinking badly of me because I trip on something that was on the floor that I should have seen. I just wish I was a little more talented. I guess there is room for improvements.
I had my first taste of what a con is and I met with a lot of really talented people that really inspired me to continue with my art.
Even thought my vision isn't all that great I still enjoy drawing and who knows..I just keep plugging at it.

Yeah really not much at all but I thought I'd write something anyway,  Work is going great.Got my first employee review on Monday and it was a good one. Event though we loss one of the client to cancer it didn't hit me as much as I thought it was going to. Mainly due to the counseling we got. All I'm left with now are the memories. Aside from that I've started book 3 of the Samaritan. What a learning experience for me. I'm tempted to put up pages from each book to show the progress over the years.
Yeah it as been a slow process. But it felt like I was back in College.

since I updated my journal.
Guest this is as good a time as ever. Things as been good lately real good.
I received a package yesterday it felt like christmas, The package had inside my pencilling course from Joe Kubert school of cartooning. Im stoke, really I am.
I can't wait to start my first assignment and get my first critique from Andy Kubert himself. Today I received another package, It had 30 or so copies of The Samaritan comic I have been working on.
Man it sure feels really really cool to hold in my hands my very first comic.
Kinda like how it felt when I animated that first bit of animation way back when I got my first job in animation.
I am hard press working on the second instalmwnt of that series.
Anyway I should get back to work...
Also I just received an unexpecting large some of money.
If it sounds like I am counting my blessings, cause I am
Major thanks to the universe.

Man talk about an awesome day I had today.
I got over 2000 views on DA. Special thanks goes to all who are looking at my art. I really appreciate it.
I brought the wolf pages to the local comic book shop and the owner looked at them and he had a lot of things to say about it. It was constructive criticism of course. I though that I had hit it dead on.
this is the transcript of the conversation :
the best selling comics on the market are best-selling because they
are written by
famous writers who have years of experience and illustrated by pros
who have fan-base
of thousands thanks to their having worked in the industry for years.
Also, they feature
well-known characters who have had movies, tv series, t-shirts, and
toys made of them.
